SP Bakery is a bakery retail chain with 23 locations in Yangon, Mandalay, and Nay pyi taw, as well as two manufacturing plants. They manufacture and sell freshly baked confectionary to the general public.
In 1969, the founder, U Kyin Sein, attracted by traditional sweet delights, chose to build his first bakery under the name “San Pya Confectionery” in Mogok, a small town on the outskirts of Mandalay Region. He put all of his energy into creating the best bakery for the people of Mogok since he loved baking.
Fast forward 50 years, and his grand-daughter Daw Thin Thin Kyaw, with remarkable vision and knowledge, renamed the bakery “SP Bakery” and expanded into Mandalay, then Yangon, and Nay Pyi Taw.
