Last week, Seamless Asia 2019 took place in Singapore, a leading conference and exhibition for the entire Asian payments ecosystem. There is a prediction floating around that 40% of all sales in APAC will be via eCommerce by 2025 and accordingly, many eTailers globally are quickly moving their stores to Asia to tap into this fast-growing market.
CitiXsys exhibited with a busy booth and a constant influx of traffic to connect with retail experts, Paula Da Silva, EVP of Partners & Global Alliances and Pauline Jacintha, Regional Director for Asia Pacific for CitiXsys. The iVend Retail solution was one of the premier POS and retail management system solutions on display in an area with complimentary software and hardware for payment processing, like SMS integration across all channels, personalised gift cards, and general in store retail hardware.
According to Da Silva, “in the past we really needed to explain omnichannel when we attended these shows and now it’s really the sought-after capability; each visitor to our booth commented, “I’m looking for an omnichannel solution, can you help me?” Fortunately, iVend Retail delivers precisely this with a focus on helping retailers importantly bolster that customer experience in both offline and online transactions seamlessly.
Jacintha shared that integration was really top of mind as retailer look to expand their current IT ecosystem with 3rd party solutions, readily delivered by iVend API and out-of-the box connectors to Magento Commerce, SAP, Sage, Microsoft and other common customer facing solutions.
It was a great show all around and iVend Retail stood out as the leading all-in-one integrated omnichannel platform with the tools to deliver that great customer experience and harmonise online and offline channels.
