Introduction This feature allows you to design transaction details screen which will be shown to the user on POS secondary display when transaction in progress. User can Hide/Show different information controls to show required information to customer like transaction details control, POS information control, customer information control etc.

Transaction screen To open the Transaction screen Search screen, browse through Administration > POS Customization > Customer Display Layout > Add/Edit Customer Display Layout > Transaction screen in iVend Management Console. This screen shows all the available Transaction screens. The screen has a button panel containing Search, Clear, New, Edit, Delete, Copy, and View buttons to let users perform respective operation.
Creating a Transaction screen This topic describes about how to create a new Transaction screen. The Search screen contains list of Transaction screen from where you can simply select a screen and edit it to save your own screen or copy a selected screen to create a new screen containing properties of the screen.
To create a new Transaction screen: 1. On the Transaction screen Search screen, click the New button or press F3. 2. Please Hide/Show different field which you want to show to user in different controls. 3. After this click "Customization" button which allow user to Hide/Show controls and also change location of controls on form. 4. After this, click the Ok button to create a Transaction screen. Clicking the Cancel button closes the Transaction screen page aborting the operation. 5.Now you can see the newly created Transaction screen on the Transaction screen Search screen.
Deleting a Transaction screen This section describes about how to delete a Transaction screen from the Transaction screen Search screen.
To delete a Transaction screen: 1.Browse through Administration > POS Customization > Customer Display Layout > Add/Edit Customer Display Layout > Transaction screen. The Transaction screen Search screen lists all available Transaction screen. 2.Now select a Transaction screen which you want to delete. 3.Then click the Delete button or press F5. Click A message appears asking for your conformation to delete the selected record. 4.Click the Yes button to delete the button. Note: •You cannot retrieve the Transaction screen once you delete it.
Copying a Transaction screen This section describes about how to copy a Transaction screen. Copying a Transaction screen helps you create another Transaction screen where all the settings are preset according to the Transaction screen.
To copy a Transaction screen: 1.Browse through Administration > POS Customization > Customer Display Layout > Add/Edit Customer Display Layout > Transaction screen. The Transaction screen Search screen lists all available Transaction screen. 2.Select a Transaction screen which you want to copy. 3.Click the Copy button or press F6. It opens the Transaction screen with all settings according to the source Transaction screen. 4.Now, enter a code in the Code field for the new Transaction screen. 5.Edit other properties and set new properties as the requirements demand. 6.Click the OK button to save the new Transaction screen. You can now search for the newly created Transaction screen on the Transaction screen Search screen.
Viewing a Transaction screen This section describes about viewing a Transaction screen. The View button opens the Transaction screen in view only mode which does not let you make any change to its properties.
To view a Transaction screen: 1.Browse through Administration > POS Customization > Customer Display Layout > Add/Edit Customer Display Layout > Transaction screen. The Transaction screen Search screen lists all available Transaction screen. 2.Select a Transaction screen which you want to view. 3.Click the View button or press F7. It opens the Transaction screen in view only mode. 4.Click the Cancel button to close the screen and return to the Transaction screen Search screen.
