The user at the POS can offer the discount or edit the discount (type and value) for the products and the transactions.

Item Level Discount - Discount can be attached to the product being transacted. The user presses F5 or clicks F5 Item Edit to open the “Sale Item Information” Screen and offer or update the discount.

Transaction Level Discount - Discount can be attached to the transaction at the POS. The user presses F4 or clicks F4 Sale Edit to open the “Sale Edit” Screen and offer or update the discount.
