Serial and Batch Management

Serial and Batch Management is added to the inventory operations. This option is available for iVend Un-Plugged version. The option is available in the HO and Store. In HO the data of all store will be displayed based on the filter criteria. In the store the data of store only displayed. With this option users will be able to manage the Serial and Batch information in the system. Users can set the expiration date, manufacturing date, admission date, and price of the serial or batch key.

To open screen - On the Management Console , go to Operations> Inventory >Serial number and Batch management..

To Search with Search Criteria Fields

The following are options available to perform product search on this screen:

Field	Description
Product Code From	Enter the code of the product, from this code the searched product range will start.
Product Code To	Enter the code of the product, at this code the searched product range will end. i.e all the products having Product Code lies between the range entered will be searched.
Product Group	Group to which the product code belongs. Click on the selection button to search the group to which the product belongs. .
Purchasing document	This is either Goods Receipt Purchase order or Goods return.
Sales Document	Select the transaction type from Sale, Refund, Layaway, or fulfillments
Inventory	Inventory where the product belongs this could be Goods Issued, Goods Receipt, Stock Transfer Shipment.
Serial Tracked	Select the checkbox, if the product searched has serial number.
Batch Tracked	Select the checkbox, if the product searched belongs to a batch.
Search	Click on search button to view results of the selection options in the form.
Reset	Click on the Reset button to reset the search criteria in the form.

The Search Result Fields

The search result displays the following information :

Field	Description
Serial/ Batch Key	Displays the serial number of the product or Batch number to which the product searched belongs.
Product ID	Displays the product ID of the product searched.
Product Description	Displays information on the product searched.
Existing qty	Quantity of the searched product in inventory.
Warehouse	On Enterprise will display the list of Warehouse, on the store will display information of the warehouse of the store.
Warehouse Description	Details of the warehouse searched.
Expiration Date	Expiration date of the product. This is editable field and can be edited at Enterprise or store level.
Manufacturing Date	Manufacturing date of the product. This is editable field and can be edited at Enterprise or store level.
Admission Date	Admission date on which Product was received. This is also the creation date of the document. This is editable field and can be edited at Enterprise or store level.
Status	The status of the product like In Stock, Available.
Price	The Price of the product.
