Suspend/Recall Transaction

 

The user at the POS can suspend the current transaction and recall such transactions. The suspended transactions can be recalled to void the sale, complete the transaction or to view the details of the transaction.

 

Steps to Suspend/Recall Transaction

 

•

Press F11 or click F11 Suspend/Recall on the transaction screen while performing a transaction at the POS to suspend. The system prompts for a confirmation message on clicking this button.

To recall a transaction, the user presses F11 or clicks F11 Suspend/Recall after selecting the customer. The “Transaction Search” screen for the selected customer is displayed.

The details of the suspended transaction(s) for the particular customer are displayed in the “Search Results” grid of the Transaction Search screen. The user selects the particular transaction and clicks the “Ok” button to continue.

To delete the suspended transaction click on the “Delete” button after selecting the transaction to be deleted.

•

The “Transaction” screen is displayed with the details of the products of the selected transaction.

•

The user can void or complete the transaction as required by the customer.
