The transaction mode enables the user at POS to exchange an item sold to the customer with another item of the same product. The user cannot exchange items of different products. For e.g., an item of Product A can be exchanged only with another item of Product A.

Sale Exchange is enabled only for the product with the “Exchangeable” field checked in the “Product” (Inventory → Product) option of the Management Console.
