The iVend Retail POS module is installed at the Point of Sale where the sale and other transactions are handled. The following types of transactions can be carried out using the iVend Retail POS application:

Transaction types Special Order, Layaway and On Account Payment can be carried out only for customers other than cash customers.
The user at the POS also has the option to:

Apply sale level and transaction level discounts
|

Apply surcharges at sale and transaction level
|
|
Apply sales person at sale and transaction level
|
|
Apply fulfillment plans to sale transactions, special orders and layaway's
|
|
Record the delivery made against the fulfillment plans applied
|
|
Accept advance payment against special orders
|
|
Charge the payment for a transaction on the customers account (on account payment)
|
|
Accept the payment using different payment types
|
|
If the logged in user has requisite rights, he/she can create a customer also from the POS.
