103rd NRF Annual Convention & EXPO at the Javits Convention Center in New York City concluded on 15th January, 2014 and was attended by more than 30,000 retail professionals from around the world. The Big Show doesn’t just get bigger physically though, it’s been reported that next year the Big Show will be a day longer, opening on Sunday.

Mobile POS, endless aisles and integrated stores were the ruling show themes. In 2013, the integrated store meant so much more. It referred to a connected, personalized shopping experience through e-Commerce and Mobility that blend physical and online shopping across devices. As predicted in the latest IHL survey, retailers are making plans to invest more dollars in innovative technologies this year than ever before, it is time for industry to rejoice and deliver their best Retail offerings.

Retailers surfed through elaborate aisles at the show looking for technology that addressed retail industry needs and helped in solving real challenges. As the Exhibitor’s get ready to provide a seamless customer experience, from POS to mobile to web to inside stores. At CitiXsys booth this year, visitors experienced the enterprise class, scalable innovation— iVend Mobile and iVend eCommerce which they could easily deploy and install to enhance their customer shopping experience.

Mobile was everywhere at NRF 2014 and also at the iVend Booth. For the visitor’s still not sure how powerful it was for their business, LIVE demo sessions were conducted.  E-commerce and m-commerce were noticed as the other retail technologies on the upswing.
