Seasoned sales executive will lead efforts to grow company’s channel business
New York, NY (August 11, 2015) – CitiXsys, a leading retail management and distribution software provider today announced the appointment of Mick Adamson to VP, North America. In this role, Adamson is responsible for growing CitiXsys’ channel business for the North American region.
Adamson brings more than 27 years of professional experience in strategic planning, sales and services to market CitiXsys’ iVend Retail suite of applications, a cloud-based platform that powers point of sale transactions for over 1,000 mid-market retailers worldwide.

Adamson will cultivate impactful strategic partnerships, spearhead product launches, B2B solution sales, and oversee partner program management and sales management. He will also serve as a liaison to all of CitiXsys’ channel partners (including value added resellers, VAR developers, ISV embed partners and others) in North America.

Prior to CitiXsys, Mick served as vice president, worldwide sales & support services for Teradici Corporation. In this role, Adamson was involved in selling cloud technology to Amazon (AWS) SaaS WorkSpaces and VMware’s Horizon View offerings. He achieved record quarters and grew overall product revenue remarkably. Previously, Adamson held roles with Loglogic, Kronos Inc., SurfControl Inc., Santa Cruz Operation Inc. & Tarantella Inc.
